We are proud to present an online version of our weekly radio show, which is broadcast live through Pirai FM in Akkaraipattu, Ampara District. This programme is primarily in the Tamil language, although some segments are also in English. The Rebuild Ampara Radio Programme takes place each Sunday from 1:30-2pm and covers a wide range of topics relating to reconstruction activities in Ampara District.

Our programme started on June 11, 2006, with new episodes appearing on this site each week! Rebuild Ampara Radio reaches 85% of Sri Lanka's Tamil-speaking population (excluding the Northern and Western Provinces, which are too distant to receive the signal). Guests include local and international experts, teachers & students, government officials, and others who discuss a variety of subjects related to reconstruction activiites in the District.

Additional broadcasts will be published here, for listening through your browser and/or download, and are also distributed in audio podcast format (above) for easy subscribing. We hope you enjoy Rebuild Ampara Radio!
